Meet the faculty and staff of the Southport Middle School and Sixth Grade Academy!

Welcome to the website of the Instrumental Music Department
of Southport Middle School and Sixth Grade Academy!

Music education is a valued
aspect of the Perry Township Schools experience.

Not only does music allow students to creatively express themselves, but it also benefits brain development, increases in human connection, and according to research, even relieves stress!

Our bands have been nurturing musical talent in students for many years, providing a platform for our young musicians to excel and grow.
